RE/MAX Agent Erin Waller Awarded the Sally Noffisinger Scholarship

Cape Fear REALTORS® Recognizes Local Agent for Outstanding Business and Personal Development Performance

Wilmington, NC, December 14, 2022 – Erin Waller, with RE/MAX Essential and a member of The Morgan Beatty Group, has been awarded the Sally Noffisinger Scholarship Award from the Cape Fear REALTORS® Association.

Last week, Cape Fear REALTORS® held their 2022 Awards and 2023 Installation Luncheon to honor top performers in the association as well as install the incoming leadership. At the luncheon, RE/MAX Essential’s own, Erin Waller, was recognized as the Sally Noffisinger Scholarship Award Recipient. This award is an annual scholarship that offers $250 towards Graduate, REALTOR® Institute Designation, or any North Carolina REALTORS, National Association of REALTORS sponsored course.

“I am so honored to be this year’s recipient of the Cape Fear Realtor’s Sally Noffsinger Scholarship Award,” says Waller. “As a member, and now co-chair, of the Professional Development Committee, I am working along with the committee to bring interesting and important programs to our members in the coming year. I am invested in the work we are doing as REALTORS® in our community and I look forward to the opportunity to engage in the NARs advanced courses using this scholarship. In order to qualify for the Sally Noffsinger Scholarship Award, nominees must have been an active CFR REALTOR® member for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years at the time of application. Nominees will have a minimum of 6 closed transactional sides from July 1st through June 30th. And the principal broker of the firm may submit one written nomination for the “top rookie” in their office explaining why that person is worthy. Also, nominees must have attended at least one REALTOR® sponsored seminar, in addition to required continuing education. And the last five recipients who can serve will make the winner’s recommendation to the Awards Committee.

Suggested guidelines for the designated REALTOR®’s selection are someone who is honest, adherent to the code of ethics, enthusiastic, congenial, has a positive attitude, prompt, courteous, reliable, dependable, success-oriented, educationally motivated, and upholds a professional image.
