I want to work for YOU!
I was born and raised in Eastern North Carolina, in the very small town of Kinston. I attended St. Mary’s College of Maryland and finished my degree at Atlantic Christian College (now Barton College) Throughout high school and college I was active in the arts, with 8 years of classical vocal training, 12 years of piano, 4 years of dance, consistent art classes with diversity ranging from pen and ink, sculpture, pottery and painting and later in my college life, a definite love of percussion and drums. I have continued with music throughout my adult life and have been active in theatre in both Brunswick County and Wilmington.
Currently I am enjoying my 18th year in real estate sales. I began my career in Raleigh and migrated to the Coast after 5 years in new construction sales. I worked in resort sales at Bald Head Island and spent a lot of time on an island that was my summer home as a child. After a few years there, I began spending more and more time selling on the mainland side and on Oak Island, and I also found that crossing bridges seemed to be my specialty. More and more time has been spent in New Hanover county due to my second career in Theatre Arts, so it has been a blessing that Re/Max Essential welcomed me with open arms and was glad to accommodate my large real estate territory! I now work from Calabash to Ogden and anywhere in between! I just love the freedom!
Theatre has been a wonderful part of my life and it has lead me to a fulfilling position in Thalian Association as their fundraising chair and more importantly, an adult leader of a fantastic group of high energy, high achieving kids called the TACT Leaders (Thalian Association Children’s Theatre). We are a community outreach group whose mission is achieve community service projects through the theatre arts.
You will also find me as a voice coach to some very talented young people as well several nights a week.
Lastly, I am most proud of having an amazing family, and how great is it to be a mom
